GOLDEN WIN FOR INDIA :) :) :)

This day was/is very special to India...
Abinav Bindra of 25 from Chandigarh bagged the Olympic Gold medal that an Indian won nearly after 28 years who holds an Masters degree in Business Administration and a CEO of the comapny 'Abhinav Futuristics' in bangalore....

He was the youngest contestant in Sydney Olympics where he broke the olympic record in shooting but failed to win in the finals...
In the winning ceremony, he maintained his calm and composure. But when he was interviwed i felt he was showing off... n his felow members were also keeping him away from the media... i just dont know wat wud have happened if he wud have answered few more answers???

But he made a nice quote which i admired and its ... " U need to believe india and its power"

The day had another fine start wid Saina Nehwal entering into Quarterfinals, another great day for Indians...
But v Indians r exctied so much about just one medal!!! day to night i was finding the same news again n again repeating every 30 mins or 45 mins... i was just wondering what will happen if indians start bagging laurels like USA or China???

~~~ONE WORLD ONE DREAM~~~
On the day of 8/8/08 at 8 p.m. n at the 8th minute..... olympics saw the finest ever welcoming ceremony in Beijing.... i was just gng crazy to see the inaugral ceremony.... n atlast it ended... letting the viewers in awe n wonder...
I really got impressed with the concept of ONE WORLD ONE DREAM.... i was with the performers enjoying, sharing their happiness n excitement... n sometimes with the cheering crowd. The 2008 percussionists stole the show... i was just placing myslef as the manager of the olympics team n thinking of the victory i wud have got...
The 56 member indian team was lead by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore......
the entire surrounding was superb superb and added it to was firework display which captivated most of the show...
How i wish cud have been in olympics... atleast they cud have selected me as a substitute for any game..it not fair!!!! ;) ;) ;)
Hi Friends....
Missed ur comment a lot... am back again... though after a long time i know.. sorry for that...
well the past 3 months went roaming around here n there, sitting useless at home somehow passing away the time...
This hols, i went to grandma's house after a pretty long time...was indeed gr8 there..
Lemme show u a typical house of that place..
This is how the building looks..ancient type.. but admirable... For the first time i saw what a flood was indeed horrible yaar... First i thought tht its a pond then only came to know tht many roads have got submerged... then came to know how flood can affect people...
The sight was worse yaar..
