Maan gaye Mughale Aazam...

Hey frens,
My first review here.... wanted to write one, so started here... but the sad and bad thing is tht its MAAN GAYE MUGHALE AAZAM.......ugh... sob sob...
I didnt expect much from this movie but hoped fair for Paresh Rawal and he wasnt in his form too.. :( wont u b surprised when i vl say tht Paresh Rawal was the husband of Mallika Sharawat!!!! It seemed as if it was rahul Bose's first movie, everywhere overreactions.... A RAW agent(Rahul Bose) seeks the help of dramatists (coz he cudnt arrange squads!!!!) to smuggle RDX from the villains... funny na... and i felt disappointed... not a thing in here was real...
Usually i like to watch movies but for this one, i waited for its end, hoping tht atleast the next scene vl have something gud,but...
i vl rate half for this movie...

hopefully next time i vl write a gud review for a gud movie....

take care frens....

ELEVEN MINUTES!!!!

Hi Friends,
Recently i read Paulo Coelho's ELEVEN MINUTES....based on the life of a prostitue and she risks everything to find her 'inner light'. well... the novel was philosophical but not the kind of novel tht one can usually expect from Coelho... And strictly this novel is not for the beginners...

There are many, but here i show u a few excerpts, tht i like from the book... hope u vl too....

1. I am two women: one wants to have all the joy,passion and adventure that life can give me. The other wants to be a slave to routine, to family life, to the things that can be planned and achieved. I'm a housewife and a prostitute, both of us living in the same body and doing battle with each other.
The meeting of these two women is a game with serious risks. A divine dance. When we meet, we are two divine energies, two universes colliding. If the meeting is not carried out with due reverence, one universe destroys the other.

2.Neither of us were tired. We went into the living room, he put on a record and did exactly as i had hoped: he lit the fire and poured me some wine. Then he opened a book and read:
A time to be born and a time to die;
A time to pluck and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill and a time to heal;
Atime to break down and a time to build up;
A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stomes and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get and a time to lose;
A time to keep and a time to cast away;
A time to rend and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence and a time to speak;
A time to love and a time to hate;
A time of war and a time of peace.

This sounded like a farwell, but it was the loveliest farewell I would ever experience in my life.
